Rendering of DHL new building

Doctors Hospital of Laredo is proud to announce the start of the ICU and Cardiac Rehab Expansion Project. This $13 million-plus investment includes the addition of eight ICU beds and the construction of 4,000 square feet for a cardiac rehabilitation unit. Completion by December 2017 is expected. Additionally, the existing Emergency Department (ED) will undergo a $1 million facelift starting in May. ED services will not be affected and will continue to operate as usual.

Existing access points to the main and ED entrances will not be affected, and DHL is asking that all OB patients enter through the ED. The ED front desk staff can guide them or escort them to Labor and Delivery. There will be no changes to the main entrance’s normal business hours, which are 5 a.m. – 9 p.m. The ED will also not be affected and will continue to operate as is.

We apologize for the inconvenience as we commit to growing with our community and its medical needs.
