Childbirth EDUCATION
Moms-to-be and their birthing partners can learn a lot from our childbirth experts before baby arrives.
We recommend that a mom and her support peson register and attend as soon as she knows she is pregnant.
Classes are FREE. Just call 1-877-992-1711 to sign up and confirm class dates.
When: Sessions are held on the first two Tuesdays of each month.
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (Unless otherwise listed.)
Where: Women's Center Education Room at Doctors Hospital (located by main entrance of Women’s Center)
Topics Covered
Prenatal classes include information about the entire pregnancy, including:
- Process of labor
- Labor and delivery procedures
- Pain management
- Postpartum care
- Breastfeeding
- Newborn care (Instructor: Noela Avila, RN)
A tour of the labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn areas will be included.
