Clinical Services

Physician Consultations
If you are seeking a physician consultation, we suggest you send your complete medical history, along with any applicable x-ray films and laboratory test results.

Physician Appointments
Once we've determined treatment at Doctors Hospital is appropriate, we will schedule all of your physician appointments including diagnostic and laboratory tests and procedures, as well as surgical procedures if necessary. Appointment availability depends on the nature and urgency of the medical situation.

Prices, Procedures and Payments
For non-emergent care, you will be asked to provide information about payment and medical history prior to any medical treatment. After we have reviewed your medical report, we will be able to provide you with a list of items necessary for your medical care and estimated fees for services. Advance financial arrangements can also be made with your embassy, referring employers or healthcare insurance companies.

Centers of Emphasis

Women's Health
Doctors Hospital focuses on treating women in each phase of life with special attention to childbirth, breast care, and menopause. Women's health specialists coordinate care from a variety of clinical departments including: labor and delivery, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, cardiology, and urology. Comprehensive medical treatment is supplemented by a full spectrum of pre-natal classes, childbrith education classes and patient education seminars on women's health topics. Additionally, Doctors Hospital continues to gain recognition for its successes and expertise in handling high-risk pregnancies. A specially trained staff, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and newly renovated Labor and Delivery suites have helped us excel in this specialty.

Cadiovascular Care
The cardiac center provides one of the most comprehensive programs available for the treatment of cardiovasular disease, including a rapid treatment program for patients with acute heart attacks. Patients receive assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of individual needs from a team of experienced cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and technicians. Services include non-invasive testing, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and studies.

Emergency Medicine
Doctors Hospital has a Level III emergency department providing medicine in a caring and efficient environment. A team of physicians in emergency medicine work in cooperation with other in-house specialists to provide immediate quality treatment for stroke, heart attacks, and other life threatening conditions.

Minimally Invasive Surgery
As medical technology improves, more and more surgeries are performed with minimally invasive techniques. As an alternative to traditional "open" surgeries, minimally invasive surgeries result in reduced scarring, shortened hospital stays and decreased recovery times all of which contribute to improved patient care. Doctors Hospital surgeons perform minimally invasive procedures, including endoscopy, urological procedures, arthroscopic surgery, breast biopsy, splenectomy, intestinal surgery, and cholecystectomy. Doctors Hospital is perhaps best known for special expertise and advanced technology in treating gastroenterological disorders.
