Getting a good night’s sleep isn’t just a dream…

It’s no secret that sleep is important. But research now shows us that getting adequate sleep is more vital to health and proper function than once was thought. It actually serves to refresh our minds and our bodies.

We now know that chronic sleep deprivation impairs brain function as well as certain physical processes. Even losing as few as one or two hours of restful sleep per night over time can have a dramatic impact on memory, judgment and concentration. It also reduces the body’s ability to process sugars and increases stress hormone levels which can lead to more serious problems.

While there is still much to learn, it’s clear that sleep has a fundamental role in your health. So getting treatment for your sleep problem is essential, not just for your precious health, but also for many aspects of your life, like your safety, your outlook, your career and even your intimate relationships.

Better sleep through better research.

It’s a technologically sound solution.

Of the nearly 70 million Americans who are problem sleepers, about half have a chronic disorder that keeps them from getting the restorative sleep they need. And many of them are completely unaware that something’s wrong.

If you sleep poorly, snore, have morning headaches or are fatigued or excessively sleepy during the day, you could have a sleep disorder. And while that can leave you tired and irritable, there are other consequences. Strained relationships. Poor performance at work or school. Moodiness.

Tomorrow’s technology. Today.

At Doctors Hospital Sleep Center, our modern facilities follow American Academy of Sleep Medicine standards. Every aspect of your care is carefully managed using specially designed software unique to our practice.

For example, our private networking software allows your physician the option of monitoring your sleep study online, in real-time mode. So any potential problems can be quickly addressed. Rest assured, your safety is our highest priority.

After your sleep study, your results are compiled the next day and forwarded to your physician soon after. It’s a level of technology that provides accurate answers to your sleep problem faster.

Simply put, we’re a results-oriented Center, which is why we offer care that is informed, effective and personalized. Regardless of your sleep difficulty, we want you to get the restful, restorative sleep your mind and body need.

Working together toward one common goal: your good night's sleep.

Children With Sleep Disorders...

Younger children, generally in the age range of 2 to 9, often demonstrate hyperactivity, impaired attention and behavior problems. The child often becomes combative before sleep. A sleep disorder can also disrupt a child’s growth hormones, when their tonsils and adenoids are fully developed. This can cause growth issues, learning disabilities and problems in the development of the child’s jaw and facial structure. That’s why it’s important to consider a professional sleep study for your child. Just to be sure.
