Pediatrics
Services We see children from one month to 17 years of age for routine well child care, acute illnesses, and consultation regarding behavior problems, school related concerns, and issues unique to the teenage years.
We focus on prevention, nutrition, safety, child development, general medical health, screening blood tests and immunizations while children are in the hospital.
We strongly encourage and facilitate open communication between parents and teenagers, but by law we are permitted to provide confidential care around certain issues.
Comprehensive testing and treatment are performed upon admission to the hospital in accordance with each child's medical and surgical needs. What to Bring to Your First Appointment Our goal is to provide your child with the comfort and care that is required in accordance with your child's needs upon arrival to our facility. To be certain that we provide the best care possible for your child, please bring medications, shot records, your insurance card, and any copies you may have of previous records. For younger children, we are particularly interested in their record of growth. Key issues and concerns will be identified and the patient, family, and appropriate team members will work together to develop a more in-depth physical, psychological, or social assessment, a change in the medical treatment plan or a consultation with a medical specialist. Multilingual Capabilities Some physicians and staff members are fluent in Spanish. Interpreters are available if requested in advance for other languages, including American Sign Language.
